Card modeling sites

Steve Brown's Card Modeling FAQ - Though no longer updated this is still a good source of information about the hobby.

Card Models Design and Build on Facebook - A group for modelers and designers to display their work. The photos on display show the great diversity and excellent quality that can be achieved with card models.

World of Micromodels - A history of 'Micromodels' and successor companies from the mid-20th century onward. Features a good selection of links to other card model sites.

Kartonbau.de - Discussion forums and galleries covering all aspects of card modeling. Primarily German language, though there is some English content (many of the members are excellent English speakers) and the photos alone make it worth a visit. Registration is required to view the photos.

Lower Hudson Valley Paper Model Giftshop - Downloads are free, but a voluntary donation is encouraged. Primarily spacecraft (real and fictional) but lots of other goodies as well.

Fiddler's Green (Commercial site) - Great kits for beginners, at a very low price.

Saul Jacobs' Paper/Card Model Page - (No longer updated) Home of the CardModeler's mailing list and the Card Modelers Online electronic magazine.
