Electric Engine Room

Steering Compartment Turbine Engine Room

The ship's electricity was supplied by four steam-powered generator sets, each capable of producing 400 kW. This room was overlooked by a switchboard gallery at the orlop deck level. In addition, two smaller emergency sets (not shown here) were carried on the saloon deck.
