2000/9/8: Released first stage of N-1, the Soviet rival to the Saturn V. Subsequent stages will be made available at a later date. Also made minor changes to V-1, V2 and Friede pages to conform to HTML 4.0, and to Xoom pages to break out of frames when returning to my main site.

2000/7/29: Minor changes to all pages to conform with HTML 4.0 and to appear properly in text-based browsers.

2000/7/28: Revised layout of all pages to new "blue" design. Added introductory page, otherwise content unchanged except for minor corrections to text and links.

2000/7/12: Created a new mirror site at driveway.com (to be used if there are problems or delays with the primary server). The old file mirror site at homes.arealcity.com seems to have vanished without a trace.

2000/2/26: The moon rocket Friede is now available. This ship appeared in the 1929 film Woman in the Moon, and should appeal to sci-fi and space history fans.

1999/12/8: I've made a few small changes to the V-1 kit based on modelers' suggestions. A display stand is now included.

1999/12/2: Joseph Cangero has released a Launch Table model to display the V-2. To get this kit, follow the link on the V-2 page to his site.

1999/11/20: My latest kit is now available. The V-1 "buzz bomb" will make an interesting, though much smaller, companion to the V-2. I also changed the file download sites (due to problems with the Angelfire site).

1999/10/30: I set up a new mirror site at homes.arealcity.com for the model files (to be used if there are problems or delays with the primary server). This new site appears to provide good download speeds.

1999/9/18: Several visitors reported problems downloading the parts files, which had apparently been deleted. I have now restored the files, which (I hope) will fix things. My apologies to those who have had trouble, and please let me know if you experience further difficulty.

1999/8/26: The black and white V-2 is here! By popular demand, a model is now available in the black and white markings of a German test rocket. This will appeal to those who don't have a colour printer or who simply want a companion to the camouflaged V-2.

1999/8/22: A few minor corrections have been made to the V-2 instruction document. A description of the changes can be found here.

2021/2/21: Added bulkhead shutoff valves to the component lists for Boiler Rooms 3 and 5 on the Olympic-class machinery layout map.

2021/2/20: The Olympic-class machinery layout map is now more mobile-friendly, and has a somewhat different user interface. This completes the major overhaul of the site. Your feedback is always welcome.

2021/2/10: The Olympic voyage timeline has now been rewritten to be mobile-friendly.

2021/2/9: Most pages have now been updated to accommodate mobile devices. The Olympic timeline and machinery layout sections will be rewritten at a later date.

2019/9/10: Added the Windlass Space to the Olympic-class machinery layout map, and a minor change to the Steering Compartment. This completes the machinery layout project.

2019/8/25: Change to the Olympic-class machinery layout map. Restored the electric winches in the Reciprocating Engine Room (they were inadvertently deleted in an earlier change).

2017/12/23: Added an Engelhardt collapsible lifeboat section with two articles translated from German, and links to other resources.

2017/10/29: Change to the Olympic-class machinery layout map. Two electric winches were added to the Reciprocating Engine Room starting platform, based on evidence in a recent TRMA discussion. Also minor changes to sidebar menu structure.

2017/5/12: Small changes to the machinery layout map. Two ash ejector pumps (Boiler Rooms 4 and 6) were re-oriented to allow more space for pipe connections. A second oil drain tank was added to the Turbine Engine Room, as per the description in 'The Shipbuilder'.
